Wilmington Dermatology Center Welcomes Board-Certified Aesthetic Dermatologist

Wilmington, NC – Wilmington Dermatology Center has announced that they’ll be welcoming Board-Certified dermatologist Dr. Katherine Nolan Lu, M.D., to their dermatology team. Dr. Nolan’s extensive training in medical and aesthetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery will further the practice’s dedication to providing innovative and results-focused cosmetic and dermatological treatments.

Dr. Nolan graduated from Cornell University Summa Cum Laude and completed her medical school training with distinction in research at Mount Sinai in New York City. She finished her residency with the University of Miami in their highly respected and dynamic dermatology program where she participated in clinical studies on skin cancer as a co-investigator. Around the same time, Dr. Nolan also completed an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Preceptorship for advanced techniques in surgical and aesthetic dermatology.

In addition to her training, Dr. Nolan has given speeches at multiple national conferences, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Lupus Foundation of America, where she was the keynote speaker on hair loss. In recent years, Dr. Nolan has also had a hand in publishing dozens of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on dermatology in leading medical journals.
